I’m really hoping the Mayans were wrong about the whole 2012 thing, because it’s just been announced that my debut novel THE LIAR’S MARGIN (subsequently retitled, THREE GRAVES FULL) will be released in 2013 by Simon & Schuster’s Gallery Books, with the wonderful Karen Kosztolnyik editing.
I’ve wanted this so much, for so long, that I don’t quite recognize myself without the pangs of worry over it. I’m also having a hell of a time getting rid of the aftertaste of despair-flavored hope. I’m gonna go buy a tongue-scraper while I wait for 2013.
If you have a cocktail sometime in the coming days, raise a toast to dreams come true and I shall be with you in spirit and spirit.

Again, congrats, Jamie! I couldn’t be happier for you. Bask in the awesomeness of your dream come true. No one, including myself, deserves it more than you. ;-))
Thank you so much! I’m very happy. And tired. I might be too old for this much fun.
WAY AWESOME!! Congrats!
Also, how did I not know you have a blog?
I am so happy for you! I can’t wait to read it. I can’t wait to make my friends read it :)
Just to be on the safe side, you best hightail it to ‘tucky right before. As Mark Twain said, ‘tucky is always twenty years behind. ;) In this case, that’d be a good thing. xx
